The LEDP-2RCW can be used as a desk-
top or wall-mounted remote control. For
wall-mounting, two holes for hanging up
the remote control are available on the rear
side.
4.2.1 Recharging the battery
The LEDP-2RCW is provided with a recharge-
able lithium battery for operation. When a
button is pressed, the red LED indicator
will light up. Recharge the battery when the
LED indicator does not light up or appears to
be dimmed or when the range of the remote
control starts to decrease. For recharging,
a micro USB jack is provided at the lower
edge of the remote control: Connect the
USB port of a computer or of a 5 V power
supply to the micro USB jack. The charging
time will be 5 – 10 hours, depending on the
battery status.

4.2.2 Address assignment
Each LED panel requires an address for op-
eration by means of the remote control. Six
addresses can be selected with the buttons

1, 2, 11, 12, 21 and 22
If multiple panels are to be controlled to-
gether, the same address can be assigned to
as many panels as desired. Thus, it is possible
to define 99 panel groups that are differently
controlled.
1) Switch off the panels (i. e. disconnect
them from the mains) to which the
same address is to be assigned for more
than 3 seconds, and then switch them
on again. Then perform steps 2 and 3
within 10 seconds!

4) Then, within 10 seconds, switch off the
panel again (i. e. disconnect it from the
mains). The address assignment will be
saved.
5) After another 5 seconds, the panel can
again be connected to the mains. The
panel can then be operated by means of
the remote control.
6) To assign a different address to other
panels, repeat steps 1 to 4.

4.2.3 Operation with multiple LEDP-2RCW
Multiple remote controls may be used to op-
erate the panels from different locations in
the room. The programming of the remote
that was used for address assignment of the
panels must be transferred to the additional
remote controls:
