• The installation of this device must be carried out by specialized technicians.-
IMPORTANT. -
- Caution, do not connect the battery charger:
• whena generatorsetwith non stabilisedoutputvoltageis employed
• with power mains voltage exceeding the rated value (230Va.c.
- Donot carryout anymaintenance whenthe batterychargeris connected to the
230Va.c. power supply net.
- In case of battery charger's misuse,the guarantee falls off and the manufacturer
declines all responsibility for damages to people and things.
BATTERY CHARGER
- Install t hebattery charger in anappropriate housing. d ryandventilated; m aximum efficiency c anbe
obtained whenthebattery charger isinstalled in vertical p osition (seefigure2),keeping thefrontside
at minimumdistanceof 300mmand the bottomand top side at a minimumdistanceof 100mmfrom
the housing sides.
- Do not cover air intakes.
- Toguarantee a proper c hange o f airtheinstallation oftwoairintakes (oneplaced onthetopandone
onthebottom, s eefigure2)ensuring a working temperature inside thehousing notexceeding 50oc.
- Make sure that the 230Va.c. safety switch can be easily reached.
- Theconnection t o power s upplymainsshallbemadeinaccordance w ithnational i nstallation rules.
- Before disconnecting t hebattery charger from230Va.c. p owersupply, t umthesafetyswitch off.
- The installationrequiresthe fixingof no.4 pins that can be easily placedonthe 4 sides.
- Thebattery charger canbeinstalled together w ithCBE12Vand230Vdistribution p anels, u singthe
appropriate modular joints.
CABLES
- use cableswith appropriatesection,minimumcross sectionarea 4 mm2.
- Protect cables from any possible damage.
BATTERY
- Lead-acid batteries shall be positioned in a well ventilated place.
- use only 12Vd.c.rechargeableleadbatteries(capacity>40Ah).
Warning:
- Do not use "not rechargeable" batteries.
- Exhaustedbatteriesshall bedisposedin accordancewith existingenvironmental p rotection
regulations.
