3. RANGES OF APPLICATION

These pumps are made for pumping diesel or fuel oil ONLY!
They are not suitable for pumping ignitable liquids like gasoline, kerosene, or for pumping at
places where the danger of an explosion exists. When using the pump, make sure there are no
open flames, lighters, matches, cigarettes or similar things present around you. When operating
suitable protective gloves must be worn.
These pumps are made for pumping clean diesel / biodiesel or fuel oil ONLY! The pumped liquid
should not contain abrasive components. Abrasive components reduces pump life.

4. OPERATION

The installation must be performed by a qualified professional.
Please, check each time before using, the electrical connections and the cables are not
damaged. Also, it is NOT recommended to perform, for example, a cable extension. It
is not certain whether this modification is technically correct, so this warranty is void. It
must be ensured that the pump is sufficiently cooled during prolonged operation.
Diesel pumps are electrical products, which have to be protected against outer influences, f.e.
caused by weather. Only use the pump in well-ventilated rooms and areas with enough fresh
air. The floor, on which the pump may be used, should be flat. Please keep enough space from
walls. Place the diesel-tank as near to the pump as possible.
The specified suction lift is the maximum suction at optimal conditions. The suction line to the
pump has to be steadily increasing. The pump and the suction pipe must be filled with
diesel/fuel oil before turning „on" the pump. Do not reduce the cross area of suction and
discharge lines. Connect suction and discharge lines to the pump by means of reinforced metal
hose. For stationary use please place the pump on rubber pads to reduce vibration transmissi-
on to and from the pump and thereby prevent damage caused. The suction and discharge line
should be connected to to the pump in souch way, that no mechanical stress on the connections
occure. For example, Fix lines by pipe clamps with rubber insert on the wall.
CAUTION: Do not connect a hose more than 5m to 1 inch on the pressure side. For smal-
ler hose diameters, use corresponding short hoses. When using a pump nozzle, it is ab-
solutely necessary to ensure that the pump is switched off immediately after the nozzle
is closed. These measures must be adhered to in order
to avoid damage of pumps.

Important (Diesel 12V-MINI-1):
Please consider an uninterrupted running time
of max. 30 min. at 20°C to avoid an overheating
of the pump. At higher temperatures the opera-
ting time is reduced accordingly.
