Active Carbon Filter
To provide air recirculation where chimney air outlet of VHS60AX/VHD60BS/VHD60BW/VHD90BS/
VHD90BW/VHD60ASX/VHD60AWX/VHD90ASX/VHD90AWX can not be connected to exte-
rior, it is necessary to use active carbon filter with your product.
Carbon filters should be replaced with new ones every 3-5 months to achieve best performance. Carbon
filters should never be washed or cleaned.
Grease filters should be installed on the product even when carbon filter is not in use.
Do not use your product without grease filter.
Carbon Filter Usage
VHS60AX/ VHD60BS/ VHD60BW/ VHD90BS/ VHD90BW/ VHD60ASX/ VHD60AWX/
VHD90ASX/VHD90AWX hood models are compatible with. It is necessary to install 2 carbon filters
to your product. You may see following information on how to replace the filters.
Replacing Carbon Filter
1. Before installing or replacing VHS60AX/ VHD60BS/VHD60BW/ VHD90BS/VHD90BW/
VHD60ASX/VHD60AWX/VHD90ASX/VHD90AWX carbon filters, please unplug the device
first.
2. Remove grease filter (figure 1).
3. Reach to one carbon filter which is located on the connection channels on one side of the motor.
Move the carbon filter by turning it anti-clockwise. Take it safely down, out of the hood body. Please
repeat this for the other carbon filter on the other side of the motor.
4. Place one carbon filter in the hood body. Assemble it on the connection channels on one side of
the motor by turning it clockwise. Repeat this for the other carbon filter to the other side of the
motor (figure 2).
5. Put the grease filters back in place (figure 2).
6. Plug the device again.
7. Now you are able to use your product VHS60AX/ VHD60BS/ VHD60BW/ VHD90BS/
VHD90BW/VHD60ASX/VHD60AWX/VHD90ASX/VHD90AWX at its best performance.
