The installation and operation of the pump must be carried out in compliance
with the safety regulations in force in the country of use. All installation
instructions must be carried out in accordance with the best technical
regulations. Failure to comply with the safety instructions will not only endanger
the safety of the persons involved but will also damage the equipment. In
addition, the guarantee will lapse in this case.
Applications
The pumps of the excellent pond 28 series are submersible pumps, designed and
constructed for pumping wastewater without fibres, mainly for domestic use, in
fixed applications, with manual control, for emptying cellars and garages that
have been flooded, for emptying drainage wells and wells that collect rainwater,
or for use with leaking gutters, etc.
Safety Instructions
Use of the pump in cellars, etc. is only permitted if the electrical system complies
with the safety regulations in force at international level.
The pump is equipped with a handle for transport. This handle can also be used
to lower the pump into wells or excavations using a rope. It is forbidden to
transport, lift or operate the pump while it is hanging on the power cable. If the
mains cable is damaged, it should not be repaired but replaced. This should be
done by a qualified specialist technician with the qualifications required by the
applicable directives. Qualified technicians should also be consulted when
carrying out electrical repairs; if such repairs are performed incorrectly, they can
cause accidents and damage.
• The pump must never be operated dry.
• The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for problems in the
functioning of the pump if it has been tampered with or modified.
• If there is a lot of dirt at the bottom of the well in which the pump has to
operate, it is better to place the pump on a support, in order to prevent the
suction grate from blocking.
