escription
Make sure to read the manual's instructions
before using the device or having it serviced.
The voltage detector is used for finding the
presence of AC voltage, the red light in the
white top indicates the detection for the user.

The voltage detector detects AC voltage in:
Wall sockets
•
Switches
•
Circuit breakers
•
Fuses
•
Cables and conductors
•
Note
the voltage detector may be used to detect breaking in
cables:
to detect a break follow the line of the cable until the
•
signal stabilizes/stops.
to detect a break in a null conductor connect a charge
•
between the conductor and the neutral conductor.
follow the line of the cable until the signal stabilizes/
stops.
test the device on a known circuit or part
If the device does not function as it should
•
with a known circuit, replace the battery.
If the device still does not work properly have
•
it looked at by the distributor's expert.
Put the tip of the measuring electrode near
•
the circuit or to the measured device. The LED
will light up and the device will beep if the AC
voltage is between 200 ~ 1000VAC (at 50/60
Hz)
Note: the voltage detector is unable to measure voltage
on a shielded cable or if the cable runs in a channel, is
behind a panel or if surrounded by metal!
