With other speedlights you have to end the sleep
mode manually.
If you are using MultiTrig AS 5.1 with cameras and/
or speedlights other than Canon or Nikon, it might
be necessary to synchronize MultiTrig AS 5.1 prior
to shooting. To achieve this, press the transmitter re-
lease button (2) before you take the picture. Or press
the camera release button instead. The next time you
press the camera release button the speedlight is trig-
gered synchronously. If there are no shots within the
next 30 seconds, it might be necessary to repeat the
synchronization procedure as described above.

Pass-Through
(only with
Canon
and
Nikon
speedlights) and external speedlights (fig. H and I)
A Canon
or Nikon TTL speedlight mounted
on top
of the MultiTrig AS 5.1T transmitter (mounted on the
camera hot shoe) can be used in full TTL. For other
flashguns there is a centre contact for synchronous
firing without TTL.
Off-camera flashes, mounted on MultiTrig AS 5.1R re-
ceivers, are not working in TTL mode. You have to set
the sync speed manually.
