PICTURE
Fine tuning
lf you wish to change the fine tuning
of your selected programme, press
yellow key P. The white arrow now
moves next to the fine tuning symbol.
By means of the — and + keys you
can adjust your picture (softer or
harder contours).
The adjustment (the symbol for fine
adjustment, €°> € , blinks) is then
stored by pressing yellow key P again.
Then remove the menu display from
the screen by pressing key (5). If
there is no menu display on-the
screen, press yellow key (7) twice for
adjusting the fine tuning. First the
menu display appears, then the white.
arrow jumps next to the fine tuning
symbol, to the right of it. Adjust and
store as described above.
' Adjusting the picture
For the adjustment of brilliance, colour
or contrast press first green key (8).
The following menu display now
appears on the screen:

Arrow € indicates which of these
functions can be. adjusted:
© — Brightness (luminance).
Press red key (9).
@ ~ Colour. Press green key (8).
@ - Contrast. Press yellow key (7).
@ - Focus. Press blue key (6).
Place the arrow (by pressing the
appropriate coloured key) next to the
function which is to be adjusted.
With buttons (4) + or — you can make
the respective adjustments.
The menu display disappears after a
few seconds. If you wish to remove it
immediately from the screen, press
key (5).

Timer operation (time switch)
After a preselected period of time has
elapsed the TV set switches off auto-
matically.
Press button (5) and hold it down
until the timer function appears on the
screen:
Button (4) + enables you to gradually
preselect up to two hours the period
of time until switch-off of the set in
steps of 15 minutes each.

By pressing buttons (4) — the time
can be corrected counting backwards.
Use the + button (4) to select the
length of time
:
before your TV set switches off. The
time can be corrected counting back-
wards with the — button (4).
After the preselected time as elapsed
the TV set switches off.

After it has switched off, the TV set
can only be switched on again
using the remote control (child
safety).

If you switch on at the TV set, only
a key symbol will appear on the
screen and the set will switch off
again after a short time.

If the station changes its program
(picture is only snow) during the
set timer period, the TV set will
switch off automatically after
5 minutes.
Controls of the set
If you have mislaid the remote control
or if the battery is empty you can
conirol all important functions on the
set. There you can see some buttons
which have the same functions as
those on the remote control.

By pressing button (4) + or ~—
you can set the controls to
the desired values. The menu
can be immediately blanked
out by pressing button (5).
Tuning-in the stations
Cancel the insertions by
pressing button (5). Then
press button (5) again, sub-
sequently press button (19)
when PR-— is displayed. The
menu for tuning-in the stations
will then be displayed. The
stations will be searched and
stored as described under
"Tuning-in the Sennen
