1.
Lower the safety barrier, place the cot directly next to the parents' bed.
2.
Pass the lashing strap (restraint system) under the bed mattress and around the frame.
Make sure the straps are placed vertically between the mattress and the edge of the
bed as shown in picture 2.
3.
Connect the male buckle to the female buckle, then snap the strap. Make sure
the mattress, sidecot and tie down strap are aligned.

Installation of an extra bed for an adult
Warning: When using the roll-up function, remove the drop-down side and store it properly.
Warning: When attaching the extra bed to the bed, the short edge of the railing must fit snugly over the
adult mattress to avoid any gap appearing.
Extra bed function
If you use the bedside function, you must follow the appropriate steps.
1.
Unzip the zip at both ends of the drop side.
2.
Move the locks (fig. 8a) to release the handrail holders.
3.
Lower the lowering side of the gondola.
4.
Place the side bed next to the adult bed and adjust the height of the bed so that the top of the
bed mattress is level with - or no more than 2 cm above - the top edge of the drop
side of the side bed.
Attention! When using the extra bed function, the bottom of the cot must be set parallel to the ground.
There must be no height difference between the ends of the cot.
5.
Pass the lashing straps under the bed mattress and hook the ends into the adult bed frame on
the opposite side of the bed. The ends must be positioned vertically between the bed frame
and the mattress.
6.
Attach the fastening straps to the cot with the clips (fig. 10b).
7.
Tighten the straps and make sure the cot is stable and securely attached to the adult bed.
NOTE: Before each use, make sure that there is no gap between the mattress of the adult bed and the
side of the extra bed.
WARNING: This product may only be used with beds and/or mattresses that have straight edges. Do not
use this product with any beds and/or mattresses that are curved or with waterbeds.
