Adjustments
Be careful notto damage the stylus tip while making adjustments.
If fitted, remove
the stylus guard before adjustments and cover
it after adjustments.
Lift the Cueing
level up after completing
the adjustments.
Ensure before adjusting that the Anti-skating compensator locking
knob is locked.
Balancing
the tonearm
@ Lower the Cueing lever [ ¥ ] and release the Arm from its rest.
@ Holding
the Arm
between
the rest and the turntable, turn the
Counterweight
until the Tonearm
is in the
balanced
position.
(The Tracking-force
ring turns simultaneously.)
Hold the Arm
genly to prevent
bumping
the stylus tip.
Release your hand
and check the balance.
Repeat this step untill the Arm
balances.
Completely
balanced
The rear is heavier.
(Turn the
Weight
counterclockwise.)

head
is heavier.

until the "O" indication

Holding the Cueing
deck,
lift the arm
axis
up
and
down
so that the stylus tip is 4-7 mm (5/32"-9/32")
above the record
and secure the lever by turning it toward
right.
Record
surface
@ Ensure that the stylus touches the record surface when lower-
ed and there exists approximately
1mm
(3/g4")
space
between
the Arm pipe and Cueing bar.
If not, adjust the height of the
Cueing bar by loosening the Cueing height adjustment screw.
