Troubleshooting
If your Infotainment system does not
function as you would expect, please read
the owner's manual carefully and go
through the following checklist before
contacting customer service.
If you cannot find a solution to the
problem, we recommend you contact an
authorised Opel Partner.

Error message / symptom
General
Infotainment system cannot be switched on
either with P rotary control 1 or the
ignition key.
Display shows wrong time of the day.
When switching on the Infotainment system
the volume is too loud / too low.
The volume of the Infotainment system
decreases or cannot be increased further if
it is very warm inside the vehicle.
The Infotainment system makes noises even
after having been switched off for a long
time.
The Infotainment system makes noises after
the car has been switched on or off.
Radio
Poor or no radio reception.
The display only shows the frequency
instead of the station name.
Stored station cannot be selected via
station button.
No traffic reports can be heard (CD/MP3 or
Mute).
Troubleshooting
Possible cause / remedy
Radio fuse or vehicle fuse-box faulty.
Automatic time synchronisation via RDS disabled.
Adjust time of day using the Settings menu, see page 160 and vehicle

Automatic time synchronisation via RDS activated.
Not all RDS stations transmit a correct time signal.
Switch off automatic time synchronisation, see page 160 and vehicle

Adjust start-up volume, see page 164.
An integrated safety circuit prevents the temperature in the device from
exceeding a certain value and automatically reduces the volume.
No error. An installed fan provides optimum cooling of the unit. This fan will
run for some time after the Infotainment system has been switched off.
No error. The Navigation data banks are being initialised for later use.
DVD 100 only:
No error. The contents of the CD changer are checked once the battery is
connected.
Check if the antenna is screwed onto the antenna mount.

RDS is switched off.
Activate "RDS on" or "Automatic RDS" in the Audio Settings menu,

RDS activated:
The broadcasting station temporarily transmits additional information to
the station name (PS).
The broadcasting station does not transmit RDS information (frequency is
displayed).
Station cannot be received at the moment.
New receivable stations may have to be stored using Autostore,
