Installation and Use

With Fixed Access
When a confined space has a fixed access such
as a ladder, installed the user should use:
Tripod

RTFA Adaptor Bracket (approved)

RTFA with Rescue Function (approved)

The RTFA should be in free run mode and in
the event of a fall the device will automatically
lock on and then the winch can be engaged if
necessary.
 CAUTION!
The RTFA is not intended to
be used as a continuous winch, only as a
retrieval device in emergency situations.
Without Fixed Access
When a confined space has no fixed access
system and there is a need to lower the user
down under control, you should use:
Tripod

RTFA Adaptor Bracket (approved)

RTFA with Rescue Function (approved)

Winch Adaptor Bracket (approved)

Winch (approved)

The independent winch is your primary raising
and lowering device and in the event of a fall the
RTFA will automatically lock on and the winch
can be engaged.
 WARNING!
