1. Remove the nut holding the main spring.
2. Detach the shock absorber at the bottom end.
3. Jack the vehicle out of its springs until the main
spring is free.

4. The fixing plate H with its attached bolt is not fitted
any longer.

5. The parts of the auxiliary spring should be intro-
duced in the order D, C, B, A into main spring K.
6. Refit main spring together with auxiliary spring so
B
that bolt F extends through the opening in the
supporting arm.
7. Carefully lower the vehicle. During this operation
the auxiliary spring must be centered and the
holder A must be positioned in the opening of the
main spring retainer.
8. Fasten the shock absorber at the bottom end and
jack the vehicle again until the springs are free.
9. Now preload the auxiliary spring slightly, for ex-

ample with the spring retainer B.
10. Lower the vehicle and screw the nut G supplied
on to bolt F. Watch for the main spring underside
and the eccentrical split.
11. The auxiliary spring may be adjusted using spring
retainer B. However, it is necessary to ensure that
the auxiliary spring C is lightly pre-loaded at all

times when the wheels are off the ground.
