"Start filter cleaning" input
The "Start filter cleaning" input can be used to start the extraction and filter system's filter cleaning
cycle (FP and FPV series) by applying a voltage of 24V. The input performs an edge evaluation
and thus starts a filter cleaning process which subsequently runs a complete cleaning cycle. When
a constant 24V voltage is applied to the "Start filter cleaning" input, filter cleaning is performed
only once. Starting filter cleaning once the filter saturation reaches 75% is recommended. This is
indicated by the "Filter warning" output.
24V output voltage
TheINSPIREcontrol panel has a 24V output voltage that can be used to operate the inputs and
outputs of theINSPIREcontrol panel on the interface without an external control voltage. The
maximum available output current is restricted to 200 mA. In addition, the 24V output can be used
to detect whether the extraction system is present in the system, or powered down / powered up.
The output is not suitable for powering inductive consumers. The ground and the 24V potentials
of theINSPIREcontrol panel must not be connected to external 24V and ground potentials for
potential equalization. This could cause potential shifts and parasitic induction. The output is
protected with a 200 mA microfuse. In case of fault, it is actuated and permanently interrupts the
output.
