1 Turn the system off with the power switch and disconnect the power plug or take precautions to
prevent powering up the system.
2 Open the door (main filter / particle filter) or cover (pre-filter / oil mist).
3 Take out the filter (with the help of another person depending on the weight).
4 Inspect the filter and replace saturated filters with new genuine ones if required.
5 Package saturated filters air-tight in a dust bag (for the item number, see the chapter "Spare
parts and replacement filters") and dispose of them. Observe internal rules for disposal and
transport where applicable.
6 Close the door or cover.
7 Connect the power plug and turn the power switch on.

Emptying the oil container
The fill level in the container has to be checked daily and the container has to be emptied as
needed.
Establishing a maintenance interval adapted to the process is recommended. The container may
overflow if it not emptied in time! The fill level can be checked on the oil sight glass.
Caution!
Appropriate protective equipment is required to perform all described filter
change tasks! All applicable environmental regulations have to be observed!
Note!
The container does not have to be removed to empty it. Therefore, the door in the
case unit is secured using a sash fastener with square-key lock.

1 Turn the system off with the power switch and disconnect the power plug or take precautions to

2 Check the fill level on the oil sight glass.
3 Connect a hose to the drain valve.
4 Connect a suitable disposal container.
5 Open the drain valve and empty the container.
6 Close the disposal container and dispose of it according to local company regulations.
Disconnect the hose.
7 Connect the power plug and turn the power switch on.
The following tasks should be completed at regular intervals:
Cleaning the container. The seal between the container and filter case also has to be inspected

and replaced if needed.
Inspecting and cleaning the drain valve. Depending on the mix of oil and particles, it may get

clogged.
