| Installation and operating instructions
1. General information
May be used in all sealed heated and chilled water systems. Rugged and assembly-friendly
construction, with adjustable feet (up to 2000 l) for a fast and secure setup. Anti-rust primer outside,
untreated inside. Multiple vessels can be installed in series. Not suitable for potable water.
Permissible working overpressure – vessel/coil (PS-R / PS-T only): 3/10 bar
Permissible operating temperature – vessel/coil (PS-R / PS-T only): 95/110 °C (368/383 K)
Insulation:
For heating systems:
For chilled water systems: On request.
Safety regulations
Read these instructions carefully before commencing installation. For any additional information

Warning:
Do not expose the insulation to open fire or naked flames as it is
minimum distances from heat sources.
Installation, commissioning and maintenance must be carried out by specialists according to the
applicable regulations (including EN 1717, DIN 1988, EN 12828 and VDI 2035, the relevant regulations
for local distributors, national legislation and other regulations). Furthermore, facilities for the secure
collection and drainage of water from the vessel must be provided to avoid water damage.
Warning:
Do not use pliers, tension belts, etc.!
Warning:
Hot water may escape at the safety valves or when draining the vessel; risk of scalding. The
system operator must prevent untrained persons from being put at risk.

3. Commissioning
The vessel must be set up in frost-free rooms only and on surfaces that provide adequate support for
the vessel when completely filled.
Avoid exceeding the permissible operating conditions. Different pressure chambers must be
separately protected and their nominal capacities are to be taken into consideration when selecting
the size of the expansion vessels for the heating system. The respective safety valves must be
