MFA 10
1. General Introduction
The MotoMeter-Multifunctional Control System MFA 10 was developed
for user-specific configuration of instruments in agricultural machines,
special vehicles and stationary motors. Through the modular set-up,
MFA 10 can be specifically adapted to the requirements of the situation.
Depending on the application purpose, a speedometer, a tachometer
and a telltale module can be adapted to the master instrument.

2. Master Instrument
The heart of the MFA 10 summarizes
functions that can be called up with 8 keys.
It also displays the corresponding values on
a two-line display panel and launches
special functions. Monitors all sensor inputs
and operates an error storage.
3. Automatic Test
 Switch on the ignition (only when the vehicle or unit is ready for
operation!).
• All display-segments of the display panel are activated.
• Sensors are tested.
• In the event of an error revealed by the sensor, an optical and audible
message are given until acknowledgement by key pressure.
• MFA is ready for operation.
5. Function Call-Up
 Press a key (e.g.
).
• The corresponding value (e.g. tank contents) is shown on the display
panel.
• The red LED of the called-up key lights up.
4. Sensor Error Display
Sensor errors (e.g. short-circuits, broken mains) are displayed as
follows: (See also "Reading Limit Values and Sensor Errors").
• The corresponding LED lights up.
• In case of sensor error, a 2-Hz tone sounds.
• A unit symbol appears on the display panel.
•The connector number on the central connector is displayed (the upper
line of the display shows, e.g. nr. 12 = connector pin for stat. input 1;
the lower line of the display shows, e.g., SEnS 1 = Sensor stat. input 1)

7. Setting the time
 Simultaneously press keys 6 und 7 for five seconds.
• The displayed time will blink.
 Press keys 5,6,7 or 8 until the correct time is set.
• The corresponding number is increased by one.
Accepting the newly set time:
Simultaneously press keys 6 and 7 until the time stops blinking.
8. Confirming Warning Points
If a detected value (e.g. pressure) exceeds or falls short of
standard, a warning point can be triggered. The following options are
possible:
• The high or low value blinks on the display.
• The red LED of the corresponding key lights up.
• A buzzer is activated (optional).
• Switching output is activated (optional).
