INTENDED USE:
Before starting work, the instructions for use should be read carefully and kept. These
instructions must be given to any future owners of the device.
The jack is designed to lift motor vehicles.
Using the device for other purposes is not permitted.
Liability for all damages/injuries caused by improper use shall be borne by the user of the
device, and not by the manufacturer/dealer.
TERMS OF USE
Give these instructions to any future owners of the device. Before using the jack, connect both
parts of the lever using the supplied screw.
The user must follow the operating instructions when working with the device.
This jack has a lifespan of least 50 cycles at the rated load.
If the loads exceed the stated values, they must be reduced with the support of other people.
The user must be able to monitor all movements of the lifting device and the load.
Working underneath the lifted load is not permitted unless the load is secured with suitable
equipment.
This jack complies with the EN 1494:2000 / A1:2008 standard for mobile or movable jacks
and associated lifting equipment, as well as the regulations of European Directive 2006/42/
EC ("Machinery Directive").
VENTING THE HYDRAULIC UNIT
The hydraulic unit must be vented before first use, as well as on a regular basis during the
product lifespan. To vent the unit, follow the steps below:
1 Loosen the drain screw on the hydraulic unit with two turns.
2 Pump the lever 8 times using full strokes.
3 Tighten the drain screw.
4 Pump the lever until the saddle is at its highest position. Pump the lever another 8 times
to release the air in the hydraulic unit.
5 Carefully apply pressure to the oil reservoir or open the rubber cap to release the trapped
air.
6 Loosen the drain screw on the hydraulic unit with two turns. If necessary, press on the
saddle to move it downwards.
7 Tighten the drain screw and test the jack.
If necessary, repeat steps 1 to 7 until all of the trapped air has been released.
SERVICING AND REPAIR
The jack must be serviced and repaired in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
