Reversing Switches
By means of the four reversing switches on the base of the trans-
mitter, the direction of servo rotation for all four functions can be
changed.
Length Adjustment of the Gimbal Sticks
To adjust the length of the gimbal stick, hold the lower part and
loosen the upper section by turning it counter clockwise. Now ro-
tate the upper section to the desired height and tighten the lower
part against the upper part.
Trim Levers
Four trim levers are provided for fi ne adjustment of the control
stick central positions. Initially move the trim lever to the central
position and, if necessary, make adjustments later during initial
fl ight. Land your model and adjust the servo pushrod length ac-
cordingly to bring the trim levers back to center position.
Transmitter care, use and safety
The Nova 6 is a high performance precision Radio Control Transmitter. Do not dismantle
it, do not expose it to damp conditions and do not drop it!
The Nova 6 is designed for use only with Ikarus-approved receivers (negative shift) and
crystals. If you are in any doubt about any aspect of your Nova 6's function or perfor-
mance, please consult your dealer or distributor before using your Nova 6.
Radio control fl ying can only be accomplished successfully with appropriate training under
the supervision of an RC fl ight instructor and/or practicing on an Ikarus fl ight simulator.
DO NOT TRY TO FLY ANY RC MODEL WITHOUT FIRST SEEKING ADVICE FROM
AN EXPERIENCED MODEL PILOT OR QUALIFIED RC RETAILER. TO FAMILIARIZE
