For the redundant connection, plug a second incoming Ethernet cable with RJ45
connector into the Ethernet interface XF2 ( Fig. 6-10/2).
The maximum cable length to the switch is 100 m including all patch cables,
assuming that 90 m of them are installation cables.

Connecting the Power Supply for the Beacon Control Module
CAUTION
Damage to the device!
The beacon control module may be damaged when connecting a
supply voltage higher than permitted.
•
Do not exceed the supply voltage of 72 V DC for the DC voltage
input ( chapter 4.3, page 41).
Note
If PoE is available, the power supply via the DC input DC INT is not
required.
Note
If required, the power supply of the DC input (DC INT) and the
terminal blocks can be monitored.

DANGER! Electrical hazard! Ensure to always isolate the supply lines
from power supply.
Plug the power supply cable 2 XCBL 421 into terminal XD1 (DC INT) and into
one of the terminals XD1 to XD8 on fuse block XFTB ( Fig. 6-11/1).
