MAINTENANCE
STORAGE
The electronics of the pH meter are very sensitive and therefore it is
necessary to store the meter in a dry place at room temperature in order
to prevent condensation in the meter.
CLEANING
A pH probe may be contaminated by organic or even fatty deposits. This
is evident from a slower approach to the final value or when it is no
longer possible to calibrate the meter. The probe is best cleaned with
ammonia. First try to clean it by stirring vigorously and only wipe the
glass bulb and the ceramic ring a soft cloth in extreme cases. Place in
the Probecare for some time again.
BATTERY
If the battery is empty, then the meter will show the message "LO BAT"
in the top left-hand corner of the display before the measurement is
affected. Change the battery direct when this happens. When the battery
is critical low the meter switch off automaticly.
AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN
After switching on, the meter will be automatic shutdown after 10
minutes.
