7. The frozen breast milk can be heated gradually in warm water or in baby bottle warmer.
NEVER HEAT THE MILK IN A MICROWAVE AS THIS MAY DESTROY VALUABLE NUTRIENTS AND ANTIBODIES. In addition,
the uneven heating may cause hot spots in the liquid which could cause burns to your baby's throat. Never immerse a
frozen milk container in boiling water as this may cause it to crack/ split. Never put boiling water directly into a feeding
bottle, allow to cool for around 20 minutes before filling.
NOTE! DO NOT STERILIZE the pump head, where the motor and battery are situated.
Please clean and sterilize the electric pump before initial use and after each use, follow the instructions below.
Sterilization method:
1. Take off the pump head (K) from the pump's body (N). Separate all the rest parts M, N, O, P, Q, J, I and wash them in
warm soap water and dry them. Do not use antibacterial or corrosive detergents.
2. Sterilize parts M, N, O, P, and J in steam sterilizer or by boiling method for 10 minutes.
1.Use steam sterilizer for sterilizing the pump. Boiling is not recommended. The first reason is that the product is easy to
damage, if exposed to improper sterilization. Second, this unscientific method of sterilization cannot achieve the
complete effect.
2. If you decide to use boiling as a method of sterilization, please, pour more water into the pot so that the parts can be
completely covered with water. Do not leave the product unattended during sterilization. Do not boil for too long –
maximum 10 minutes.
3. For the nursing mothers who breastfeed once every 2 – 3 hours, it is not recommended to sterilize and clean after each
use. Excessive disinfection and cleansing can easily lead to premature aging and reduce of the life of breast pump. It is
recommended to thoroughly clean the stains and sterilize once a day.
4. Store the parts in a clean container.
IMPORTANT! If the breast pump is for the purpose of storage of the milk, you should take care of the disinfection of all
washable parts of the pump, otherwise the milk may go bad, as it is a product difficult to store.
ATTENTION! Before use you have to ensure that the pump's body, the valve, the bottle and parts J and M are dry.
We recommend you not to sterilize the tube – part 4 in order to avoid accidental entry of water into the pumping
motor.
If you use a steam sterilizer for cleaning of the parts of the pump, you should be careful not to enter in contact with the
heater of the sterilizer. If you use boiling as a method for sterilization, be careful not to enter into contact with the
bottom of the vessel in which you boil.
1. Lack of suction:
• Check if you have assembled all parts correctly and if the valve is positioned correctly.
• Ensure that the silicone massage pad and the shield brace are fitted securely to the pump body and a perfect seal is
created.
• Check if you have placed the silicone valve firmly to the opening of the pump body.
• Check whether there are any damaged parts.
If you can not turn the pump on, check whether the battery is exhausted. Connect the adapter to the terminal for
charging the motor.
2. No milk is being expressed:
• Check point 1
• Ensure the pump is correctly assembled and that suction is being created.
• Relax and try again.
•There are 15 levels of expression, the maximum power is 42kPa; the average suction power of the baby is 20 – 30 kPa.
We recommend you increase the levels gradually; the most suitable level is the one, with which the suction is painless.
The following is NOT true: the stronger – the better. Too strong suction can hurt the nipple.
3. Pain in the breast area where there is expression:
• If you feel pain and no milk flows during expression, maybe your mammary gland is blocked. This case may result in
mastitis. Contact a physician promptly. The complete milk expression will have good effect on mastitis protection.
• You may be using too high level of suction. You do not need to use all the suction that the pump can generate.
•Try to adjust the proper suction and frequency.
• Consult your health professional/ breastfeeding advisor.
4. Flow is too slow:
The speed of milk flow differs for every woman. The higher degree and level of expression do not mean faster flow of
milk. This depends on many factors – constitution of the breast, level of pasibility, even the mood.
