Commissioning:

a) Installation position:
The installation position for the gateway should be chosen as close as possible to the motor
frame being operated. The range is influenced greatly by the surrounding structural conditions.
The distance should not exceed 10 m inside a residential building.
The gateway can be connected to your home network at a corresponding network socket or by a
network lead.
To this end, you can use the enclosed lead or a commercially available network lead (designation:
CAT 5, EIA/TIA-568). To connect the gateway directly to a wi-fi router, there should be clearance
of at least 1.50 m between gateway and wi-fi router to ensure the optimum range. The available
range may decrease if the clearance is any less. Make sure that there are no larger metal objects
near the antenna (approx. 25 cm).
Preferably you should choose an exposed position for the gateway.
b) Check that the components are in good condition. The housing must not be damaged in any way
and the leads must not be squashed.
c) Check that the SD card fits properly. (= > Fig. 1)
d) Connect the gateway to your home network with a network lead. (= > Fig. 2)
e) Connect the power adapter with the gateway power jack. (= > Fig. 1)
f) The gateway will be ready to operate after approx. 20s. (operating status = > Fig. 3)
g) Now follow the instructions of the Lattoflex app on your Smartphone or Tablet.
