Safety instructions:
a) This product is intended for operation in a dry room with the enclosed 5V power adapter. Any
other use or operation with any other power adapter than the one provided can be dangerous
and makes any guarantee claims null and void.
b) Ensure that the device is not exposed to excess moisture or extreme temperatures.
c) Avoid any heat congestion. Do not cover the housing and the ventilation holes. Avoid installing
the device in areas without sufficient ventilation. Do not mount the gateway in the direct
vicinity of other heat sources.
d) Do not operate the gateway in rooms that pose a risk of explosion or any other similar
hazards.
e) Only operate the gateway with the enclosed antenna. The use of any other antenna e.g. to
enlarge the range may infringe the prevailing regulations.
f) The product is fitted with a radio transmitter and may only be operated within the scope of
standard EN 300 440 (economic area of the EU including Switzerland). Comply with any
regional regulations.
g) Do not drill any holes in the housing.

Intended purpose:

The wi-fi adapter (gateway) converts signals from the house or home network (LAN) to a 2.4GHz
radio system. It lets you operate your Lattoflex motor frame (from MY 2013) from your Smartphone
or Tablet. The gateway is intended for use in dry rooms in the domestic setting.

Operating preconditions:

In a typical home network, the following points (a) to (d) are frequently provided as a
standard feature by DSL routers with integrated wi-fi.
The following equipment and devices are required:
a) A network (Ethernet LAN) with free connection; the simplest solution is a free LAN connection
directly on your wi-fi router.
b) For Smartphone access, you will need a wi-fi access point in the network.
c) The existing network must provide a DCHP server.
d) The existing network respectively the firewall must support the Bonjour Protocol (Multicast
DNS).
e) 230V AC mains connection (power socket).
