Handheld Remote Control
WeiTronic Remoto 5M
Nameplate
The nameplate is located on the
back of the handheld remote
control (see Fig. Changing the
Battery).
Approved Use
The WeiTronic Remoto 5M hand-
held remote control is solely
designed for the purposes of
controlling sun protection sys-
tems such as lamella outdoor
blinds, roller blinds, and jointed
arm and vertical awnings.

Channel Selection (max. of 5 channels)
• Press the Select button (8) (for less than
1 second) to display the active channel
as well as the operating mode.
• To change the channel, press the Select
button (8) once again (for less than
1 second).
• To indicate that the central control func-
tion is activated, all of the channels will
be lit up. The central control function is
not included in the products Lux and
Tempura.
• We recommend that you make a note of
the channel assignment on the back of
the handheld remote control.
Selecting the Operating Mode
• Manual operation: manual commands
such as

are selected by pressing
the relevant button.
• Automatic operation: manual com-
mands plus automatic sun control.
• To change the operating mode, press
the Select button (8) (for longer than
1 second.
• Changing from manual to automatic
operation will cause the products to
retract.
Transmission Check
The channel display doubles up as the
transmission check. Should a radio signal
be received, this will be signalised by

the assigned channel flashing. Should the
battery performance run down, the
brightness of the display will dim and the
frequency range will drop. If the control
lamps stop flashing when a button is
pressed, the battery will need to be
replaced.
Automatic Wind Control
When there is a risk of high winds, the sun
protection system will retract and remain
shut down for approx. 15 minutes. Should

button be pressed during the
shutdown period, the product will move
very slightly to signal that the system is
still shut down. Please note: The automatic
wind control cannot be deactivated.
Lux and Tempura
Jointed arm awnings are also available as
extras with lighting (Lux) and heating
systems (Tempura).
• To activate these options, press the
button (for less than 1 second).
• Hold the

the lighting.

button to switch off either
the lighting or the heating.
