Unplug the unit when cleaning or when not in use.
Do not operate the unit with wet hands. Prevent water from splashing onto the unit.
The unit must not come into contact with rain, moisture or other liquids.
Do not leave the unit running unattended. Do not tilt or turn the unit over.
Do not disconnect the mains plug when the unit is in operation.
Do not pull on the power cord to unplug it.
Do not use an extension cable or an intermediate plug.
Do not place any objects on top of the unit.
Do not climb or sit on the unit.
Do not insert fingers or other objects into the air outlet.
Do not touch the aluminium ribs of the unit.
Do not operate the unit if it shows signs of damage or signs of malfunction.
Do not clean the unit with any chemicals.
Do not operate the unit near heat sources.
Do not use any means to accelerate the defrosting process.
The unit must be stored in a room where there are no permanent sources of heat (e.g. naked
flames, an operating heater).
The unit must be stored in such a way that mechanical damage is avoided.
Do not break or burn even after use.
Note that refrigerants may not have an odour.
Piping must be protected from damage and must not be installed and stored in an unventilated
room if this room is smaller than 4 m².
Keep the required ventilation openings free of obstructions and do not cover them.

2.1 INTENDED USE
The dehumidifier is used to remove moisture from the air. The resulting reduction in humidity
protects buildings and their contents from the adverse effects of excessive humidity.
The refrigerant used is the environmentally friendly R290. R290 has no harmful effects on the
ozone layer (ODP), a negligible greenhouse effect (GWP) and is available worldwide. Due to its
efficient energetic properties, R290 is very well suited as a refrigerant for this application.
The unit is intended exclusively for dehumidifying indoor air, in compliance with the technical
specifications.
In addition, the unit can also be used as a room air dryer to support the drying of wet laundry.
Use the product only for the purpose it is intended for. The manufacturer accepts no liability for
damage caused by unintended use. Any modification to the product may negatively impact safety,
cause hazards and invalidate the warranty.
