2. Use / Placement
With the lifting mat it is possible to move a patient lying in bed towards the top end and onto their side,
transfer a patient, e.g. from a bed to a shower stretcher, and also lift up a patient who has fallen onto
the floor.
Place the person to be repositioned on their side and insert the lifting mat with the grips positioned
under the pad. Return the person to the supine position and pull out the grips. The patient is now on
the mat.
This product is suitable for re-use.
3. Maintenance / Care
The product does not require any special maintenance. It can be washed in a washing machine at
90° C. When using non-standard washing agents, bleaching agents, softener or other chemical
washing additives, the functional properties of the product can strongly degrade. The robust material
can be disinfected with the usual wipe disinfectants. Check the compatibility before use where
required on the basis of the disinfectant's instructions. We recommend the use of alcohol- and
aldehyde-free agents, e.g. Trionic®. .Before washing, remove the core of the product a wipe it or
disinfect it if necessary. There is also some care information on the label.
