Dear Customer,
Before using the appliance, read the
following instructions carefully and keep
this manual for future reference. The
appliance must only be used by persons
familiar with these instructions.

Safety instructions
∙ The attachment may only
be used in conjunction with
the KM 3896/3897/3898
food processor. Therefore,
the safety instructions for
KM 3896/3897/3898 also
apply.
∙ When the attachment is
used, the mixing bowl
with splash guard lid
must also be attached, as
the mixer also rotates.
∙ Warning! The blades of
the mixing bowl are sharp!
Be especially careful when
cleaning and emptying
the mixing bowl to avoid
injuries.
∙ Caution! Do not fill hot
liquids into the mixing bowl.
∙ Be careful when pouring
hot liquids into the mixing
bowl, as they may escape
from the appliance as
sudden steam.
∙ Clean the accessories
immediately after use
with warm water with and
detergent.
∙ For more information on
cleaning, please refer to the
Cleaning and Care section.
∙ Never let the appliance run
without contents.
∙ Never touch moving parts
of the appliance, risk of
injury!
∙ The appliance must
be switched off and
mains power must be
