The Protac BallBase is delivered in a carrying case.

If the top mattress is not in use, store it securely in the carrying case.
Disposal
The Protac BallBase can be broken down into the following components for disposal:

• All parts can be disposed of as combustible waste.
• Waste must be disposed of in accordance with current legislation.

Using the product
IT Protac BallBase Incontinence cover is used is used over the outside of the top mattress if there

are problems with incontinence (urination problems). A regular bed sheet must should be used over
the incontinence cover for comfort.
General precautions - Safety
• The same risk precautions apply as for the use of a plastic bag:
- Incontinence covers are dangerous toys for children.
- Top mattress used with an incontinence cover must not be used for children without supervision.
- Top mattress with incontinence cover must not be used for patients unable to care for
themselves without supervision.
- Top mattress used with an incontinence cover must not be pulled over the head.
