Relative calculation – Proportions
The size of a picture should be increased proportionately.
Example:
copy is required with a width of 24 cm.
How high will the picture be?
The width 10 is aligned with the height 15 and a relationship
thus established between the two.
The result, 36, for the new height can be found aligned
with the new width 24. Both scales can be used for this
procedure.
Verhältnisrechnung – Proportionen
Ein Bildformat im gleichen Verhältnis vergrößern.
Beispiel: Ein Foto ist 10 cm breit und 15 cm hoch.
Ein bzug soll 24 cm breit werden.
Wie hoch wird das Bild?
Die Breite 10 wird der Höhe 15 gegenüberstellt.
Damit ist das Verhältnis der Werte zueinander festgelegt.
Das Ergebnis für die zu ermittelnde Höhe ist 36
und steht der neuen Breite 24 gegenüber.
Beide Skalen können für diese Verhältnisrechung
benutzt werden.
