10.14.2 "CALIBRATION" function
Calibration involves saving the end positions or the neutral position of the following controls (depending on the con-
trol):
"ST" steering wheel (5) for channel 1
"TH" throttle lever (13) for channel 2
"VR2" rotary switch (12)
Proceed as follows:
After selecting the "CALIBRATE" function as described in chapter 10.14, the dis-
play should look like the one shown in fig. 48.
Press
to start the calibration process ( = abort).
The display shows three bars for the above-mentioned controls.
Turn the steering wheel (5) repeatedly to the end positions and then release it
(neutral position).
Push the throttle lever (13) repeatedly to the end positions and then release it (neutral position).
Push the lever of the "VR2" rotary switch (12) repeatedly to the end positions and then move it back to the middle
position.
Press
to finish the calibration process. The display shows "CALI SUCCESS" if the calibration is completed and
"FAIL" in case of an error. In case of an error, press
"CANCEL" (abort). Press
Proceed with the next setting as described. Press
10.14.3 "FW UPDATE" function
Attention!
This function is only intended for manufacturers performing a firmware update through special software
and a USB connection.
10.14.4 "FACTORY" function
Use this function to reset the transmitter to factory defaults.
Attention!
Resetting deletes all settings and erases all model memories. Before resetting, ensure to note down set-
tings you may need, for example, those concerning the assignment of controls to the receiver channels or
similar.
Proceed as follows:
After selecting the "FACTORY" function as described in chapter 10.14, the display
should look like the one shown in fig. 49.
Use
or
to toggle between "OK" (reset to factory defaults) and "CANCEL"
(abort). Press
to confirm the selection.
Once the transmitter has activated the factory settings, the main menu appears
on the screen.
Resetting also eliminates the connection between the transmitter and the receiver. Proceed as described
in chapter 10.12.2 (first change the receiver type to "ANT2WAY", then initiate the binding process for the
receiver and then for the transmitter).
