Chimney Starter
WARNINGS FOR THE WEBER
For outdoor use only.
Do not use gasoline, liquid fire starter or alcohol in the Starter.
Do not use any form of self lighting charcoal.
Barbecue mitts should always be worn when handling the Starter.
Do not use the Starter unless it is placed on a firm, level
charcoal grate.
Do not use the Starter in high winds.
Do not wear loose clothing with flowing sleeves while lighting
or using the Starter.
Do not use the Starter for cooking or warming food.
Watch for hot sparks when pouring hot coals out of the Starter.
Do not use the Starter with a table top or small portable
charcoal grill.
Do not use Starter unless barbecue is on a firm, level,
non-combustible surface.
Keep Starter away from children and pets at all times.
Only use Starter to light charcoal briquets for charcoal barbecues.
Do not set the Starter on a combustible surface unless the Starter
is completely cold.

USING THE WEBER CHIMNEY STARTER
1. Turn the Starter upside down.
2. Crumple two full sheets of newspaper and stuff them in the
bottom of the Starter.
3. Turn the Starter right side up and place on the charcoal grate.
4. Add appropriate amount of briquets but do not over fill.
5. Strike a match, and insert into one of the bottom air vents
to ignite the newspaper.
6. When the top layer of briquets have a light coating of grey ash,
carefully lift the Starter using barbecue mitts and empty the
coals onto the charcoal grate, for either the Direct or Indirect
Cooking Method.

encendedor.

una parrilla para carbón firme y nivelada.
No use este encendedor si hay viento fuerte.
No use ropa con mangas anchas mientras esté encendiendo

No use este encendedor para cocinar ni calentar los alimentos.
Pueden saltar chispas al echar carbón encendido en la parrilla

Use este encendedor sólo para encender carbón.

USO DEL ENCENDEDOR TIPO CHIMENEA
1. Invierta la chimenea.
2. Arrugue dos hojas de periódico y póngalas en la base de
la chimenea.
3. Vuelva a poner la chimenea en posición normal y colóquela
en la parrilla para carbón.
4. Agregue una cantidad de carbón suficiente, sin llenarla
completamente.
5. Encienda un fósforo e introdúzcalo por uno de los orificios de
ventilación, que están en la base, para encender el periódico.
6. Cuando la capa superior del carbón esté ligeramente cubierta
de ceniza, levante cuidadosamente la chimenea usando los
guantes y vacíe las brasas en la parrilla para carbón, y cocine
siguiendo el método directo o indirecto.
