• Be careful to ensure that the device openings are not blocked during operation by objects, dirt,
hair or your hands. If there is any blockage, do not switch on the device. Blocked openings can
lead to the motor overheating and hence result in damage.
• Never insert any objects into the devices openings.
• Do not use this device outdoors.
• Do not use the device during a storm. Danger of electric shock!
• Do not switch on the device when not in use, when replacing accessories and when cleaning, also
unplug from the mains and allow the device to thoroughy cool beforehand.
• Since the device, power cord and plug are subjected to considerable strain through movement,
check these regularly for any signs of visible damage. Never use the device under any
circumstances if you have discovered damage, if the device has fallen or otherwise fails to work
perfectly. Never attempt to repair the device yourself.
• Repair work must only be carried out by qualified and specialized staff.
• Children are unaware of the dangers that arise when handling electric devices. Keep device away
from children. Be especially careful when using the device in the vicinity of children!
• Keep packaging material, such as plastic bags and expanded polystyrene pieces out of the reach
of children. Risk of choking!
• The device is only for use in private homes and not designed for commercial use.

USING FOR FIRST TIME
• Take all the device components out of the packaging and remove all packaging material and
enclosures.
OPERATION OF DEVICE
The device can be used for drying and styling towel-damp hair and styling dry hair.
Note:
Please be aware that depending on the condition and thickness of the hair, the duration of use
required for the device may vary. Be especially careful with sensitive hair, where only a short
duration of contact should be made. In the latter case, use a conventional heat protection spray to
protect the hair, and especially the ends, from dryness and overheating.
HAIR DRYER:
• Remove the cable trap and fully unwind the power cord.
• Always ensure that the switch (1) used to regulate the fan speed is set to 0 and subsequently
connect the device to the mains supply.
• The device can be used at the desired fan speed, namely 1 (light), 2 (medium) or 3 (strong).
• To blow-dry the hair, the enclosed nozzle or diffuser may be used.
