In dieser Montageanleitung wird die Mon-
tage für einen einfl ügeligen ausziehbaren
Spritzschutz mit dem Schiebetürbeschlag
Aquant 40 beschrieben.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Aquant 40 ist ausschließlich zur Verwen-
dung als Schiebetürbeschlag für Duschen
im Innenbereich freigegeben.
Der Beschlag Aquant 40 darf ausschließ-
lich mit Glas nach EN 12150-1:2015
verbaut werden.
Verletzungsgefahr!
Die Glasscheiben sind schwer.
Fehler bei der Montage können zu
schweren Verletzungen führen. Der
Schiebetürbeschlag darf nur durch
Fachpersonal mit Erfahrung im Um-
gang mit Glas montiert werden.
Für die fachgerechte und tragfähige
Montage an die Bausubstanz und die
Auswahl des Befestigungsmaterials
ist das Fachpersonal verantwortlich.
− Vor Beginn der Montage klären
Sie bitte die tragfähige Verbin-
dung zwischen Wandwinkel und
Bausubstanz sowie die Belast-
barkeit der Bausubstanz gemäß
Seite 6 dieser Anleitung.
− Prüfen Sie, ob das beigefügte
Befestigungsmaterial für den
Einsatzfall geeignet ist.
− Beachten Sie die Montageanlei-
tung.
− Halten Sie sich an die in dieser
Montageanleitung vorgeschrie-
bene Reihenfolge.
− Beachten Sie insbesondere alle
Hinweise, die mit dem Warndrei-
eck gekennzeichnet sind.
− Beachten Sie auch die Hinweise
des Glasherstellers.

Montageschritte, die besonders
wichtig für die Stabilität der Dusch-
abtrennung sind, werden in den
Abbildungen mit einem Warndreieck
gekennzeichnet .

These installation instructions describe the
installation of a 1-sash extending splash
panel using the Aquant 40 sliding door
fi tting.

Intended use

Aquant 40 is approved exclusively for use as
a sliding door fi tting for showers in interior
spaces.
The Aquant 40 fi tting may only be used with
glass in compliance with EN 12150-1:2015.
Risk of injury!
The sashes are heavy. Errors in as-
sembly can lead to serious injury.
The sliding door fi tting may only be
assembled by specialists who have
experience working with glass.
The specialist personnel entrusted
with assembly are responsible for
the competent and stable fi xation to
the building structure and the selec-
tion of the fi xing material.
− Before starting the installation,
check stability of connection
between the special wall bracket
for sliding splash panel and the
building structure as well as the
load-bearing capability of the
building structure according to
page 6 of these instructions.
− Check whether the enclosed
fi xing material is suitable for the
respective application.
− Observe the installation
instructions.
− Keep to the sequence prescribed
in these installation instructions.
− Observe, in particular, all infor-
mation fl agged with the warning
triangle.
− Any information from the glass
manufacturer should also be
observed.
Please note:
In the illustrations, a warning triang-
le identifi es the assembly steps
that are particularly important for
the stability of the shower enclosure.

Sicherheit / Safety / Sécurité
La présente notice de montage décrit le
montage, avec la ferrure pour portes cou-
lissantes Aquant 40, de la paroi coulissante
de protection contre les projections à 1
vantail.
Utilisation conforme à la destination
du produit
Aquant 40 est exclusivement destiné à
être utilisé comme ferrure pour portes
coulissantes de douche dans les espaces
intérieurs.
La ferrure Aquant 40 peut uniquement
être utilisée pour du verre satisfaisant aux
exigences de la norme EN 12150-1:2015.
Risque de blessures !
Les portes en verre sont lourdes.
Les erreurs commises au montage
peuvent provoquer des blessures
graves.
La ferrure pour portes coulissantes
doit impérativement être montée par
du personnel qualifi é expérimenté
dans la manipulation du verre.
Il incombe au personnel qualifi é de
veiller à ce que le montage sur la
structure bâtie soit effectué de man-
ière correcte et stable et de choisir
le matériel de fi xation approprié.
− Avant le montage, il convient de
vérifi er la stabilité de la liaison
entre le raccord mural spécial
pour la paroi coulissante de
protection contre les projectio-
nes d'eau et la structure bâtie
ainsi que la capacité portante de
la structure bâtie conformément
à la page 6 de la présente
notice de montage.
− Vérifi er que le matériel de fi xa-
tion convienne à l'application.
− Respecter la notice de montage.
− Respecter l'ordre des opéra-
tions tel qu'il est décrit dans la
présente notice de montage.
− Faire particulièrement attention
aux instructions précédées d'un
triangle de signalisation.
− Respecter également les
instructions du fabricant des
vantaux.
À noter :
Les opérations de montage parti-
culièrement importantes pour la
stabilité de la cloison de douche sont
désignées dans les illustrations par
un triangle de signalisation .
