Centering of the microscope on 180°
View from the top
1.
Bring the microscope (2) in position.
2.
Aligne the graticule with the controlpiece (reference piece or centering point).
3.
Turn the microscope 180°.
4.
The eventual centering fault, i. e. distance between the crosswire (3) and the controlpiece (4), has to be
corrected each with the half (X) of the crosswire (3) and the controlpiece (4)
(Attention: The 2 screws (5), horizontal or vertical has to be moved together, i. e., loosen one of the
screws and on the same time tighten the screw opposite).
5.
Turn the microscope 180°.
6.
If the centering fault is still existing, repeat point 2-5, till the fault is corrected.
