• Raw or hard-boiled eggs in their shells must not be heated in
a microwave oven, as they may explode, even after heating
has finished.
• Use the microwave oven for its intended purpose only. Do not
heat up chemicals in the microwave oven.
• To minimise the risk of tripping, the microwave oven has a short
power cord. If you are using an extension cord, make sure that
it is positioned in a way that avoids trip hazards and is out of
the reach of children.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
supplier, retailer, the retailer's service representative or other
authorised person to avoid any danger.
• The power cord must not be placed on hot surfaces.
• Do not let the power cord hang over sharp edges.
• Do not store/use the microwave oven outdoors.
• Do not use the microwave oven near water, in damp
environments or near a swimming pool.
• Remember that any container will often be hot after heating.
Use oven gloves.
• Be careful when heating liquids. They can boil over.
• Never dismantle the microwave oven.
• Position the microwave oven so that there is at least 30 cm
of free space above it and at least 20 cm to the sides.
• The oven must not be mounted behind a door to avoid
overheating. (This does not apply to microwave ovens intended
for built-in installation.)
• Do not block the vents.
• The microwave oven is intended for heating food and drinks.
Drying food or clothes and heating heat pads, slippers, sponges,
dishcloths and the like can lead to damage, ignition or fire.
