SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, you should always take basic
safety measures. Always keep the following in mind:
• Read all instructions.
• Plug the microwave oven into an earthed mains socket.
• It is important that the safety lock on the door does not break
or otherwise become damaged.
• Children should only use the microwave oven under adult
supervision.
• Children should learn how the microwave oven works and be
aware of the hazards associated with improper use. This is
especially important when using the grill function.
• This product may be used by children aged 8 years and older,
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or people with a lack of experience and knowledge, if they are
supervised or are given instructions on how to use the product
safely and understand the hazards involved. Children must not
play with this appliance. Do not allow children under 8 years of
age to clean or carry out normal maintenance on the appliance
without adult supervision. Store the appliance and power cord
out of the reach of small children under 8 years of age.
• Only use cookware intended for a microwave oven.
• The oven should be cleaned regularly and any food residues
must be removed.
• Be careful when heating food in containers made of plastic or
paper. These materials are flammable.
• If smoke is emitted, turn off the appliance or unplug it and keep
the door closed to prevent a possible fire.
• Do not use the microwave oven for storage (of bread, cakes, etc.).
• Remove any metal handles and other metal objects before
placing the container in the microwave oven.
