TROUBLESHOOTING
The microwave oven is
interfering with TV reception.
Dimmed oven light.
Condensation forms on
the door/warm air comes out
of the vents.
The oven was accidentally
started without food inside.
PROBLEM
The oven will not start.
The oven does not heat up.
NORMAL
Radio and TV reception may be disrupted when the
microwave oven is used. It is similar to interference from
smaller electrical appliances, such as mixers, vacuum
cleaners and electric fans. This is normal.
When cooking on low power, the oven light is dimmed.
This is normal.
During cooking, food may emit steam. Most of it escapes
through the vents. Some collects in cooler areas, such as
the oven door. This is normal.
The oven must not be operated without food inside.
It is very dangerous.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The power cord is not plugged
in properly.
A fuse has blown or the circuit
breaker has tripped.
Electrical socket problem.
The door has not been closed
properly.
SOLUTION
Unplug the oven. Plug it
in again after 10 seconds.
Replace the fuse or
reset the circuit breaker
(to be repaired by a
service technician).
Test the socket with other
electrical appliances.
Close the door properly.
