ASSEMBLY
1. Disassemble the wing screw on the horizontal beam (5) and fully extend the telescope square
pipes (adjustable length).
2. Shove the feed rod carrier onto the horizontal beam. Note: The feed rod's wing screw and the
wing screw's thread have to point in the same direction.
3. Put the telescope square pipes of the horizontal beam (5) back together and lock them with the
wing screw.
4. Put the lock carrier outrigger (6) from the bottom on the square pipe and screw it into the provided
thread. Screw the second lock carrier outrigger (6) on the beam (5) in the same way.
5. One after the other, shove the horizontal beam (5), the feed rod (2) and the horizontal beam (5)
on the equalizer bar as shown in the picture.
6. When using the fenders as supporting surface mount the outriggers (4) on each end of the
equalizer bar. When using the compressor legs as supporting surface use the equivalent
outriggers (3). Note: Make sure that all outriggers are mounted on the correct side. The outriggers
(4) have to match the edge of the fenders' edges respectively (3) the grade of the compression
leg.
OPERATION
1. Determine the feed rod carriers' position (2). They have to be exactly over the engine's lifting
points.
2. Adjust the width of the bar by using outriggers (3) respectively (4). Both outriggers (4) have to be
placed on the welding edge of the fender (3) respectively on the compression leg screw. Caution:
The outrigger carriers have to be fully pushed on the equalizer bar. If not, this may lead to injuries
or property damage (distortion of the bar)
3. Make sure that the horizontal bars (5) are positioned correctly. The offset edges of the adjustable
outriggers have to point into the engine compartment in order to avoid slipping of the lock carrier.
Caution: Outriggers must be positioned on points of the car's body that can carry the engine's
weight. Tighten all wing screws after their assembly.
4. Bring the feed rods in position. Make sure that the hooks are located directly over the engine's
lifting points in order to avoid the engine move unintentionally during disassembly.
5. Mount the screw shackles of both chains on the engine's lifting points. Note: Only use additional
locking components that cover the load to be lifted.
6. Tighten both chains by turning the spindle nuts until a disassembly of the gearbox is possible
without a deliberate, sudden deepening. Caution: Make sure that the spindle nuts are not turned
against the end of the spindles' threads.
7. Check whether the engine is sufficiently supported, before you disassemble the car.
SERVICE
Check the beams/bar regularly. Make sure that all parts move freely. Remove moisture to prevent
rust. Store the engine support in a clean and dry place.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. Packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with
the environment. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
