START/STOP button: After selecting the program-
me, time and temperature press the START/STOP
button to start cooking.
If you press this button during the preheating pha-
se, the appliance will stop and display the tempe-
rature and time. If you press it again, the appliance
will resume operation.
If you press this button during the cooking phase
the appliance will stop and display the cooking
time. If you press it again, the appliance will resu-
me operation.
If you want to change programmes after preheating
or cooking has started for any programme, simply
press the START/STOP button and press the button
for the new programme.
STAND BY mode: The appliance will enter stand by
mode if no button is pressed for 1 minute.
5- BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove all packaging

Read all instructions completely and pay special
attention to the safety instructions.
Remove all accessories (grill rack, cooking tray,
frying basket and splash guard) and wash them in
warm soapy water.
These accessories are also dishwasher safe but
hand washing is recommended.
6- SPLASH GUARD
The splash guard is located on the inside of the lid
and its function is to protect and keep the heating
element clean. The splash guard must ALWAYS be
in place when cooking. If the splash guard is not
fitted, the heating element will be stained with oil
and splashes causing smoke.
The splash guard should be cleaned after each use.
Let it cool completely after cooking and remove it
by pressing outward on the side tabs that hold it
in place.
Place the backsplash between the two retaining
tabs and push gently until it is securely in place.
7- OPERATION AND PROGRAMMES
Press the desired programme button as indicated in
the information box.
Press the START /STOP button to start the "Pre-
heat" phase.
When preheating is complete, the "Add food" light
will illuminate. You can then open the lid and place
the food on the grill.
Note: the Dehydrate and Broil functions do not have
a Preheat phase.
Close the lid to start cooking
Cooking will start automatically and the timer will
start counting down.
You can open the lid at any time to check the pro-
cess or turn the food over. The timer will stop when
you open the lid and will start again when you close
the lid.
When cooking is complete the appliance will emit
a 3 beep alarm and the word "END" will be shown
on the display.
Remove your food and leave the lid open to allow
the appliance to cool down quickly.
