1- GENERAL AND SAFETY INSTRUC-
TIONS
1. Read all instructions completely before
using the appliance.
2. This appliance is intended for house-
hold use only. Do not use it for any purpose
other than those specified in this manual.
3. Do not immerse the cord, plug or
appliance in water.
4. Before use, untie all cables at the rear
of the appliance.
5. During cooking or at the end of cooking
the appliance reaches very high tempera-
tures even on the external surfaces. Do not
touch the appliance to avoid burns.
6. Do not touch the hot surfaces of the
appliance without protecting your hands
with heat-resistant mittens or tongs.
7. Check the condition of the power cord.
Damaged or tangled cords increase the risk
of electric shock.
8. Do not use the appliance if the cord or
plug is damaged. Return the appliance to
the nearest authorised dealer if the cord or
plug is damaged. Do not attempt to disas-
semble or repair the appliance yourself to
avoid electrical hazards.
9. Any maintenance or repair should be
carried out by a professional.
10. The plug of the appliance must fit snu-
gly into the socket. Do not modify the plug.
11. Do not touch the plug with wet hands

and do not unplug the appliance with wet
hands.
12. Make sure that the voltage indicated
on the rating label matches the current vol-
tage before plugging in the appliance.
13. Never pull on the power cord when lif-
ting, carrying or unplugging the appliance.
14. Do not coil the cord around the
appliance.
15. Do not allow the power cord to hang
down or come into contact with the hot sur-
faces of the appliance.
16. If the casing of the appliance breaks,
unplug it immediately from the mains soc-
ket to avoid electric shock.
17. Do not operate the appliance if it has
fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of
damage or if it is leaking.
18. Use the appliance only indoors and on
dry surfaces. The appliance is not suitable
for outdoor use.
19. Place the appliance on a horizontal, flat,
stable surface that will support the weight of
the appliance.
20. Unplug the appliance when not in use
and before cleaning. Switch off the applian-
ce before unplugging it.
21. Keep the work area clean and well lit.
Dark and cluttered work areas are accident
prone.
22. Use only accessories recommended
by the manufacturer to avoid damage or
injury.
23. You must leave a minimum of 16 cm of
space at the top and all around the applian-
ce to allow for proper air circulation.
24. This appliance must not be operated
on a timer or by remote control.
25. Keep away from flammable materials.
26. Use only with edible food.
27. Do not place the following materials in-
side the appliance: paper, cardboard, plas-
tic, fabrics or other flammable materials.
28. During operation, the lid must not be
opened to move the trays or other acces-
sories to avoid burns caused by high tem-
peratures or cooking liquids.
29. Do not cover the appliance or place an-
ything on the appliance. Do not obstruct the
hot air outlet.
30. Do not use as an immersion fryer.
31. This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or men-
tal capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given super-
vision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are supervised and over 8 years
of age.
