The control panel display shows consecutively:
temperature and cooking time.
Programme buttons:
Air crisp: For frying without oil or with little oil. E.g.
French fries
Dehydrate: For dehydrating meats, fruits and vege-
tables.
Pizza: for cooking pizza
Roast: For roasting meats and vegetables
Bake: For baking cakes and desserts
Broil: For defrosting all types of meats
Manual: Additional function that allows manual ad-
justments for different types of food and to achieve
different flavours.
Probe: Measures the temperature at the time of
cooking meat
DIY: Allows customised time and temperature ad-
justment
Grill: For grilling
Indicator lights
Preheat: This light comes on after pressing the
start/stop button and after pressing a programme
button. This light indicates that the appliance is pre-
heating. The preheating time lasts approximately 2
minutes depending on the selected programme.
The preheating time is preset and cannot be chan-
ged.
If you wish to remove the preheating, simply press
the selected programme button again and the pre-
heating phase will be cancelled and you will auto-
matically move on to the next phase: Add food
Add Food: When the preheating phase is comple-
ted, an alarm will sound and the "Add Food" light
will come on. This light indicates that the correct
preheating temperature has been reached and that
you can open the lid and add the food you wish to
cook. Then close the lid and cooking will start. The
timer will start counting down automatically.
If you need to open the lid during cooking, the ti-
mer will pause and start again automatically when
you close the lid. The Start/Stop button must not be
pressed. Pressing the Start/Stop button will stop the
cooking process.
Operating
buttons
On/Off button
: plug in the appliance and press
the on/off button to activate the appliance. The light
in the on/off button will come on and the appliance
will go into standby mode. Pressing this button du-
ring cooking will stop the operation and the applian-
ce will be switched off.
Once the cooking process is complete, the unit will
beep 3 times and the display will show END, the
button lights will go out except the power button,
the heating element will stop working, the mo-
tor will continue to run for 1 minute and then the
display will turn off, 5 beeps will sound and the
appliance will go into standby mode. If you need to
stop the operation before the end of the programme
simply press the "On/Off" button and it will automa-
tically stop the operation.
Temp + - buttons: Use these buttons to adjust the
cooking temperature in any function. Simply choose
any programme and then adjust the cooking tem-
perature if necessary by pressing the + - buttons,
then press the START/STOP button to start cooking.
Temperature adjustments are made in 5°C incre-
ments. If you keep the temperature setting buttons
pressed for more than 2 seconds, the temperature
settings will be made in steps of 10ºC.
For the grill function, press the grill button and then
press the Temp + - buttons to select low tempera-
ture ("Low" light will light up) or high temperature
("High" light will light up).
Time + - buttons : Use these buttons to adjust the
time in any programme. Simply choose any pro-
gramme and then adjust the cooking time if neces-
sary by pressing the + - buttons, then press the
START/STOP button to start cooking.
Time adjustments are made in 1 minute incre-
ments. If you keep the time setting buttons pressed
for more than 2 seconds the time settings will be
made in 5-minute increments.
If time setting is more than 1 hour, that will be in
30-mintute increments.
Note: You can also adjust time and temperature
settings during cooking by pressing the correspon-
ding buttons. The selected temperature and time
settings will always be applied in the cooking pha-
se as the preheating phase has pre-set times and
temperatures that cannot be changed.
