Error when loading the software
If an update of the application is executed or attempted and an SD card with a valid
application file is registered by the PxtMX, the update is loaded into the flash
memory by pressing the BOOT key.
Several status messages are assigned to the charging process, which describe the
current charging status. These status messages have in common that an occurring
error is to be found exclusively in the content of the update file to be loaded and not
in the system or in the operating software.
The following is a list of the possible status messages and the associated LED
signalling:
• Update was OK.
• No SD card or file with the specified name found.
• Preliminary plausibility check of the file failed.
• Invalid characters in the file.
• Checksum error.
All error messages are indicators that point to transmission problems, such as those
that can also be caused by contact problems of the card or the card holder. Therefore,
if problems occur, it is advisable to first repeat the insertion process several times in
order to clean the memory card or the card holder. Another measure is to reload the
application onto the memory card or to replace the card.
