INTENDED USE

• The stack///grill is designed to
be used to cook food that can
be grilled and as a fire.
• The stack///grill is designed to be
used outdoors. Any other use or
further use is not permitted. This
applies in particular to the following
foreseeable incorrect uses:
— Do not use the stack///grill
as a heater.
— Do not use the stack///grill
for heating substances or
materials, apart from food.
— Never use the stack///grill
as an integrated device.
• The product is suitable for
personal use only and not for
commercial applications.
• Use the product only for the
specified purpose and as described
in the operating instructions. Any
other use is deemed to be improper.
• The warranty does not cover
faults caused by incorrect handling,
damage or attempted repairs. The
same applies to normal wear and tear.

SAFETY NOTICES

• PLEASE NOTE! DO NOT USE IN
ENCLOSED SPACES! Only use
outdoors! There is a risk of carbon
monoxide poisoning.
• NOTICE: The stack///grill must
not be operated if it is deformed or
defective. This must be checked
before every use.
• PLEASE NOTE! National and
local regulations, such as permits,
operating rules, safe gaps and other
stipulations, must be complied with.
• Choose a location to set up
the product where there are no
combustible materials or substances
near to the stack///grill and none can
end up there either. Never set up the
stack///grill beneath branches or
canopy covers! The minimum gap
from combustible substances and
surrounding areas must be 3 m.
• PLEASE NOTE! Keep children and
pets away! Never leave the
stack///
grill unattended when it is burning
or still hot. In particular, make sure
that no children or people who are
unable to correctly identify or
respond to possible hazards end
up close to the hot stack///grill.
• PLEASE NOTE! Do not use methyla-
ted spirit or petrol to light or relight!
Only use firelighters in accordance
with DIN EN 1860-3! Otherwise,
deflagration may cause an
uncontrollable build-up of heat.
• Only ever use barbecue charcoal
or charcoal briquettes (tested
according to DIN EN 1860-2) as fuel.
Only ever use wood when you use
the product as a fire.
• This product gets very hot. When you
are using the stack///grill (converting,
moving the grill rack, etc.), always
use the barbecue tongs provided and
wear barbecue gloves and a barbecue
apron if necessary. You should also
only touch the stack///grill when
wearing barbecue gloves immediately
after the embers have extinguished
as the surfaces will remain hot for
some time. The barbecue gloves
(to prevent thermal risks) must
comply with DIN EN 407 (Category II).
• Only ever use the barbecue tongs
or barbecue utensils that are also
supplied with long, heat-resistant
handles to prepare food.
• In the event of a fire: Smother
the flames with a fireproof blanket
or a suitable fire extinguisher.
• Be careful when handling the parts
of the product. There is a danger of
injury due to sharp edges.
• Keep the packaging material
away from children and animals.
There is a danger of suffocation.
• Protect the product from impacts.
• Use only original accessories from the
manufacturer in order to guarantee
that there is no interference that may
prevent the product from working
and to avoid possible damage.

BEFORE INITIAL USE

Before you first use the stack///grill,
operate it once with charcoal
briquettes and allow them to burn
for at least 30 minutes to remove any
possible production residues. Clean
the product once it has been emptied
and cooled down.
Follow the instructions in the "Use"
and "Cleaning" chapters.
When the product is first used,
production-related additives
(e.g. grease) may cause a small
amount of smoke and / or an
odour to be produced. This is
normal and not a quality defect.
