Cautions
∙ Do not plug with wet hands.
∙ Do not plug into a socket where several other appliances are plugged in.
∙ Do not use if the plug cord is damaged or when the power plug does not fit the
socket securely.
∙ Do not modify the parts, or repair the unit by yourself.
∙ Do not use the unit near a flame or wet places.
∙ This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental capacities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety
∙ Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
∙ Do not use if the cord or appliance is damaged. Always check before using the ap-
pliance! Keep children away from the device. Danger of burn! Persons with reduced
experience or insufficient knowledge should not use the appliance, exept a person
in charge of their safty take care or supervice, how the appliance is used.
∙ Do not place on unstable surfaces.
∙ Do not carry the unit when the pot or the pan is on it.
∙ Do not heat the pot empty or overheat it.
∙ Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons, lids, cans, and aluminum
foils on the top plate.
∙ Use the unit with sufficient space around it. Keep the front side and either right or
left side of the unit clear.
∙ Never use the unit on carpet or tablecloth (viny1) or any other low-heat-resistant
article.
∙ Do not place a sheet of paper between the pot or the pan and the unit. The paper
may get burnt.
∙ If the surface is cracked, switch off and take to the service center immediately.
∙ Do not block air intake or exhaust vent.
∙ Do not touch the top plate shortly after removing the pot or the pan, as the top
plate will still be very hot.
∙ Do not place near objects which are affected by magnet, such as: radios, televisions,
automatic-banking cards and cassette tapes.
∙ The supply cord must by replaced by qualified technicians.
∙ The appliance is not suitable to be used with an extenal timer or a separate remote
control.
∙ Attention! Housing and glass get hot, Risk of burns! Don´t place the device
on a sensitive surface (c.g. painted furniture) and keep distance of at least 70
cm to burnable materials (c.g. curtains).
