Read the complete manual before carrying out the installation and activating the system. Keep the
manual for future reference.
1. DESCRIPTION
This is an adaptable and energy-efficient LED spot with a clean design. The spot is suitable for outdoor use.
With its homogeneous lighting effect, the spot ensures superior lighting in all conditions. As the spot is equipped
with a built-in PIR sensor, it only switches on when necessary.
As soon as someone is detected, the light is switched on daylight-dependent. The PIR detector is most sensitive
to movements passing through the detection area. The sensitivity to movements directly towards the sensor
is about 50% less (see Fig. 1).
The spot only switches on once the set daylight condition (twilight level) is no longer reached and remains active
as long as human movement is detected.
This manual applies to the following types:

This spot is also available without built-in PIR sensor (see reference numbers 352-0844x and 352-0845x).
2. USE
These spots are suitable for wall mounting outdoors.
Be aware of the following during installation:
• The detection range depends on the mounting position and the walking direction.
• As the movement sensor reacts to the temperature difference between heat sources and the ambient temperature,
the detection range changes according to the circumstances of the mounting position.
• Only mount the spot on stable walls.
• The detection range can be reduced by masking the lens.
• Keep a distance of 1 meter from other spots mounted at the same height.
• Avoid heat and cold sources in the immediate detection range and below the spot itself.
• Keep a distance of 20 cm from the ceiling (30 cm when mounting in an internal corner).
The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole
luminaire shall be replaced.
3. OPERATION
This spot has a built-in passive infrared sensor (PIR) which responds to the displacement of heat caused by
persons and their movements. If the sensor detects movement, the spot switches on automatically. Once the set
time (approx. 3 s to 30 min) after the final detection has lapsed, the spot automatically switches off.
4. MOUNTING
The spot is designed for mounting on the wall at a height of 2 to 4 m (see Fig. 1).
The spot is mounted as follows:
1.
Choose the mounting site for the spot. Drill the hole for the screw carrying the spot, located in the middle
on top of the spot. Press the included plug into the drill hole and insert the included screw into the plug.
2.
Turn the head of the spot 180° into the service position (see Fig. 4a).
3.
Unscrew the screw at the bottom of the device and slide the cover downward (see Fig. 4b).
4.
Hook the device over the mounted screw (see Fig. 4c). If you're happy with the spot's position, draw two
drilling holes on the wall for the two others screws (see Fig. 4d). Unhook the device from the wall, drill the
holes and insert the included plugs into the holes.
5.
Insert the power supply cable through the cable inlet at the back of the spot (see Fig. 4e).
6.
Rehook the device over the middle screw and insert the two included screws into the plugs (see Fig. 4d).
7.
Connect the wires as shown in the wiring diagram (see fig. 2 and § 4).
8.
Slide the cover back up.
9.
Reverse the head of the spot with 180° (operating position).
10. Set the desired settings for the PIR sensor (see Fig. 5 and § 6).
Aim the spot and the detector as desired. The PIR detector can be rotated 45°. The head of the spot can be
rotated 10°, both horizontally and vertically. Never deviate the head more than 4° from the horizontal axis to
prevent heat concentration on one side. The spot may not be turned on in service position.
5. WIRING
Connect the spot as shown in the wiring diagram in Fig. 3.

Output/connected phase
The connected phase L' can be used for parallel connection of up to one similar additional load. It is recommended
to pass additional load through an external relay.
It is possible to use an external switch to permanently switch the spot on or off (see Fig. 2).
6. CONFIGURATION
The spot is ready for use approximately 1 minute after connection to the power supply. The PIR detector settings
can be modified using the potentiometers on the device (see Fig. 5).
6.1. Test:
If you want to check the operation of the detector during the day or adjust the frontal range, the twilight settings
should be on ð.
4
6.2. Light sensitivity
Using the LUX potentiometer, you can set the threshold value of the twilight switch continuously between ƒ
(night mode, 5 lux) and ð (daytime mode, 2000 lux) (see Fig. 5a). The light is only switched on once the set
threshold value is reached.
6.3. Switch-off delay
Using the TIME potentiometer, the switch-off delay is set between 3 s to 30 min (see fig. 5b). The switch-off delay
determines the length of time the light stays on after the final movement in the detection area.

Solution
The switch output does not switch.
• The threshold value is set too low. Increase the threshold value.
• Check the lighting and the fuse.
• Check if the automatic mode is activated
The switch output switches too
• The threshold value is set too high. Decrease the threshold value.
often.
• Check detection area for causes of incorrectly switching on (heat
sources, draft, etc. )
• Reduce the chances of errors by masking the lens
