Temperature: Internal temperature of the device is a function of a number
of variables: ambient temperature, running time, and load. Excessive heat
generated due to heavy loads on the system will quickly cause the motor
core temperature to rise. Persistent operation at an elevated temperature will
prematurely wear the working components and may lead to motor damage.
All Thumper® products have ventilation gaps to allow air circulation inside the
device. Some models are equipped with cooling fans. All Thumper® products
are designed with an over-temperature safety system to prevent damage to the
device or to the user. If the temperature rises to excessive levels, the device will
shut down and will have to be allowed to cool, then reset.
Maintenance
Cleaning Tips: If the external surfaces become soiled, wipe clean with a cloth
dampened with a mild soap. Do not use thinner, benzene, or any other solvents.
Thumper® is maintenance free, constructed with permanently lubricated sealed
ball bearings. No additional lubrication is necessary. Thumper® has no user
serviceable parts inside.
Electrical Insulation: Thumper® is a double-insulated product. In a
double-insulated product, two systems of insulation are provided instead of
grounding. No grounding means is provided on a double-insulated product,
nor should a means for grounding be added to the product. Servicing a
double-insulated product requires extreme care and knowledge of the system,
and should be done only by qualified service personnel. Replacement parts
for a double-insulated product must be identical to the parts they replace. A
double-insulated product is marked with the words "Double Insulation" or the
symbol (square within a square).
Extending Product Life: To get the most out of your Thumper® and to
make it last a long long time, you should consider three factors which have
a direct effect on premature wear: heavy load, high temperature, and long
uninterrupted running time.
Running Time: Thumper® has been tested and certified to meet electrical
safety standards established by, UL (Underwriters Laboratories), CSA
(Canadian Standards Association), and EN (European Standards) for household
electrical appliances and massage appliances. These products are intended
for intermittent use, which is defined as "20 minutes ON / 20 minutes OFF" (i.e. if
you run it for 20 minutes, then you let it cool for 20 minutes).

prese di ventilazione libere da sporcizia, peluria e simili. Non adoperare su letti o
divani morbidi dove le prese possono restare bloccate.
• Non adoperare dove si stanno usando aerosol o si sta somministrando ossigeno.
• Non usare il massaggiatore in prossimità di abiti non aderenti o gioielli.
• Tenere il massaggiatore in funzione lontano da capelli lunghi.
• Rimuovere la batteria quando si trasporta il massaggiatore Lithium2 o lo si ripone
per lungo tempo.

Quando non usare Thumper®
Se non siete in perfette condizioni di salute, non usate un massaggiatore
Thumper® né alcun altro elettromassaggiatore né sottoponetevi a massaggi
manuali senza prima aver consultato il medico. Ricordate sempre che il
massaggio dev'essere piacevole e confortevole; se provate dolore o fastidio,
smettete subito e consultate il medico.
È estremamente raro che si verifichino effetti secondari o eventi avversi
gravi causati da massaggiatori, ma come con qualsiasi tipo di massoterapia
(manuale o con attrezzi) è importante osservare le seguenti controindicazioni:
NON usare un massaggiatore nei seguenti casi:
• Siete preoccupati per la vostra salute
• Soffrite di ipertensione incontrollata
• Vene varicose
• Lesioni
• Trombi
• Linfoedema
• Problemi di pelle come fuoco di S.Antonio, herpes o dermatiti estreme come
eczema, acne o psoriasi
• Neuropatie
• Siete incinte
• Soffrite di vasculopatia periferica
• Portate un pacemaker
• Stent arteriosi
• Problemi renali
• Convalescenza postoperatoria senza l'approvazione del medico
• Osteoporosi grave
• Dolore inesplicabile al polpaccio
• Disturbi in fase avanzata
Non usare su testicoli, ovaie, seno, occhi, orecchie, testa, collo, reni né
direttamente sulle ossa.
