Malfunction
No sound or poor
sound.
Insufficient WLAN

Possible cause
Sound is turned off.
External speakers are
not properly connected.
MAESTRO is not set to
the correct playback
mode.
Headset is plugged in.
FM/DAB or Internet
reception is poor.
There is radio
interference.
Optical or coaxial Input
has no sound
Due to the overload
the protection circuit is
activated.
Audio drop-outs in
optical mode.
The router is too far or
blocked.
Router is not switched
on or working properly.
Setup method is
incorrect.
Solution
Adjust the volume.
Check the speaker wires
connection and polarity.
Select another playback
mode.
Pull the headset out of the
jack.
Extend/adjust the FM/DAB
antenna or check the WLAN
connection.
Keep MAESTRO away from
other electronic devices.
Select PCM as the output
source on the external
device.
Turn the MAESTRO off
and on again to reset the
protection circuit.
Switch off Audio Clock
Syncronisation (refer to
"Optical mode" section).
Place MAESTRO closer
to the router or adjust
the position of the WLAN
antenna.
Switch on your router or
check the router conditions.
Check if your router
supports WPS and uses the
correct setup method (PBC
or PIN).
Configure the WLAN
settings again.
