You can use the sam e starting address for a w hole group of devices or enter an individual one for every
device.
•
When all devices have the sam e address, all the units will "listen" to the control signal on one particular
channel. I n other w ords: changing the settings of one channel will affect all devices sim ultaneously. I f you
set different addresses, each device will "listen" to a separate channel num ber. Changing the settings of
one channel will only affect the device in question.
•
I n the case of the 4- channel VDPLPS36BP, you w ill have to set the start address of the first unit to 1, the
second unit to 5 (1 + 4) , the third to 9 ( 5 + 4) , and so on.

8 . Cle a nin g a n d M a in t e n a n ce

All screw s should be tightened and free of corrosion.
•
The housing, the lenses, the mounting supports and the installation location ( e.g. ceiling, suspension,
trussing) should not be deform ed, m odified or tam pered with e.g. do not drill extra holes in m ounting
supports, do not change the location of the connections ...
•
Mechanically m oving parts m ust not show any signs of w ear and tear.
•
The electric pow er supply cables m ust not show any dam age. Have a qualified technician m aintain the
device.
•
Disconnect the device from the m ains prior to m aintenance activities.
•
Wipe the device regularly with a m oist, lint- free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
•
There are no user-serviceable parts, apart from the lam p and the fuse ( see " I nstallation") .
•
Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
