Be very careful during the installation: touching live wires can cause life- threatening
electroshocks.
Alw ays disconnect m ains pow er w hen device not in use or w hen servicing or m aintenance
activities are perform ed. Handle the pow er cord by the plug only.
I n door u se only. Keep this device aw ay from rain, m oisture, splashing and dripping liquids.
Never put obj ects filled with liquids on top of or close to the device.
Keep this device aw ay from children and unauthorized users.
Cau tion: device heats up during use.

There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device. Refer to an authorized dealer for service
and/ or spare parts.

dealer w ill not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problem s.

A qualified technician should install and service this device.
•
Do not switch the device on im m ediately after it has been exposed to changes in tem perature. Protect the
device against dam age by leaving it switched off until it has reached room tem perature.

This device falls under protection class I . I t is therefore essential that the device be earthed. Have a
qualified person carry out the electric connection.
•
Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the specifications of this m anual.
•
Do not crim p the pow er cord and protect it against dam age. Have an authorised dealer replace it if
necessary.

Disconnect the device from the m ains to clean it or w hen it is not in use. Handle the pow er cord by the plug
only.

Shields, lenses or UV screens shall be replaced if they becom e visibly dam aged ( e.g. cracks, scratches) to
such extent that their effectiveness is im paired.
•
Do not look directly at the light source as sensitive people m ay go into epileptic seizure if they do.
•
Note that dam age caused by user m odifications to the device is not covered by the w arranty.
•

used indoors with an alternating current of m ax. 230VAC/ 50Hz.
